DETAILED ITINERARY

 

DAY 1 Mar 14 WED ARRIVAL

Arrive in Israel at the Ben Gurion Airport. Connect with your group at the hotel. Meet your tour guide and tour host. Enjoy a walking tour of Tel Aviv. In the evening experience some of Tel Aviv’s specialty restaurants and vibrant culture.

DAY 2 Mar 15 THURS COAST OF ISRAEL & GALILEE

Learn a little about modern day Israel by visiting Independence Hall, where Israel was declared a nation. After grabbing an ice coffee, travel north along the coast of Israel. Stop in Caesarea, step back through the ages to the Roman occupation and learn about the different events that transpired on this once ancient port city. Visit the site where Elijah made an alter to God on Mount Carmel. Stop for a view of the home town of Jesus of Nazareth. Continue to your hotel by the Sea of Galilee

DAY 3 Mar 16 FRI GALILEE

Explore the area where Jesus spent most of his ministry. Visit the Mount of Beatitudes, Capernaum, Tabgtha and Magdala. Enjoy a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. In the evening participate in a traditional shabbat meal with some of the locals.

DAY 4 Mar 17 SAT GOLAN HEIGHTS

Travel to the Golan Heights. Discover Caesarea Phillipi where Peter declared that Jesus was the long awaited Messiah. Then visit Tel Bental where you can view Syria, Lebanon and Jordan. Stop at the Valley of Tears and learn about some of the miracles that took place during the Yom Kippur War.

DAY 5 Mar 18 SUN JUDEA & SAMARIA & JERUSALEM
Board the bus and drive down the Jordan Valley. Stop at Shiloh where the Tabernacle once stood. Then ascend the Mount of Olives for a view of the Old City of Jerusalem. Walk the Palm Sunday path down to the Garden of Gethsemane. End the day at the Garden Tomb. Overnight in Jerusalem

DAY 6 Mar 19 MON JERUSALEM

Explore the City of David where we will learn about Jerusalem’s vast history. Discover the Hezekiah Tunnels that lead to the pool of Siloam. Next visit the Davidson center and learn about the temple days. Walk on the Southern steps that Jesus walked on. Next visit the Western Wall, and say a prayer for your loved ones. Continue on for a tour of the Old City that encompass the Jewish Quarter, the colorful Arab markets and the Church of the Holy Sepulchur in the Christian Quarter.

DAY 7 Mar 20 TUES JERUSALEM

Visit Vad Vashem, the holocaust museum. Continue to the Israel Museum and discover some of the amazing artifacts that have been uncovered in Israel. End the day at the Friends of Zion Museum. Overnight in Jerusalem

 

DAY 8 Mar 21 WED DEAD SEA

Bring some sunscreen and a bathing suit! Drive south to Negev, Israel’s blooming desert. First stop at Kaser El Yehud, the possible location where John the Baptist baptized Jesus. Continue to Masada, an incredible desert palace. Then enjoy a float in the Dead Sea. Overnight in Jerusalem

DAY 9 Mar 22 THURS FREE DAY IN JERUSALEM

Enjoy a day to roam the streets of Jerusalem on your own or visit some additional sites that were not covered in the itinerary. In other words relax and have some fun :)

Jordan Extension

Drive south to Eilat. Cross the border between Israel and Jordan. Drive through the desert. Meet your Jordanian Tour guide. Enjoy a guided tour of the ‘lost city of Petra’ including the Siq, Obelisk Tomb, Calligraphy, Treasury, Jabal Madbach (sacrificial palace), Tombs, Theater, Mountaintop Tombs. Overnight in a bedouin tent

 

DAY 11 Mar 24 SAT Jordan Extension

Travel back to Eilat. If time allows, free time in Eilat to take advantage of the beautiful Red Sea Beaches and go snorkling, or enjoy the city’s attractions. Return back to Jerusalem. Overnight in Jerusalem.

 

DAY 12 Mar 25 SUN Departure

We strongly urge you to purchase Deluxe Tour Package Insurance for your trip. Cancellation penalties are covered by cancellation insurance if purchased and if cancellation is for health reasons.

 

Documents:

A valid passport for at least six months after returning home is required. A visa is a stamp in your passport that permits you to enter a country. It is the passenger’s responsibility to obtain, at their own expense, the documents required to enter destinations according to citizenship
